Cooking With Camel Milk: Crêpes

I’m very excited to share this recipe, because crêpes are just incredible. They’re super fun to make and delicious if done correctly. It is also absolutely perfect to incorporate camel milk into, because of the added nutrition and delicious taste difference. This is a perfect weekend breakfast to put together for the family, and sure to be enjoyed! So here we go.

The DromeDairy™ Camel Milk Crêpes

Ingredients:

-1 cup of flower (I prefer almond, to make it paleo-friendly)

-1 tablespoon of sugar

-¼ tablespoon of kosher salt

-2 large eggs (I typically purchase from a local farmer's market, but not required)

-1 ½ cup of DromeDairy Naturals® camel milk

-1 tablespoon of butter

-Fresh fruit of your choice

-Powdered sugar for serving

Then:

  1. Get a mixing bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time/
  3. Then add the DromeDairy™ camel milk.
  4. Let batter sit until it’s bubbly on top (usually takes 15 to 20 minutes).
  5. Warm a skillet at medium heat.
  6. Melt butter in the pan.
  7. Drop batter evenly into pan ¼ cup at a time  (swirling to evenly coat).
  8. Cook for 2 minutes and flip then cook 1 minute more.
  9. Repeat with remaining batter.

This serves great crêpes, and is even better with fresh fruit and powdered sugar! This recipe is definitely one of my favorites. It’s delicious and can serve the family with a delicious breakfast. The health alternatives are definitely a plus, so enjoy!
